I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
